Who really knows what WWE will look like once Vince McMahon eventually facilitates a sale for the company? The future is daunting in a way, but also rather thrilling to think about. Besides, if new owners marry their freshness with the good work Triple H has been doing since assuming creative control last summer, everyone wins.

There's a fresh feel to WWE even without the sale though.

This is one stimulating time to be a pro wrestling fan then. WWE's renewed vigour, AEW's growth, the lure of independent treats hidden beneath the surface and a competitive marketplace = good times. Here's to more of it.
