Nope, not that one.

Bret Hart vs Steve Austin at WrestleMania 13 is almost definitely in your own personal list of greatest ever WWE matches. It saw the greatest double turn in the history of the sport and set one man on course for the most important babyface run in the history of his company. Bizarrely though, it's not even the best match the two ever had.

Well, yeah, ok, it is. But Hart and Austin's WrestleMania bout is far more memorable for its bloody finish than it is for the technical work leading up to it. Purists (ie, boring people like me) will take equal delight in seeing their Kuwait Cup match in 1996, while showcased all the same aggression and technical chemistry they'd later build on at next year's Mania.

Yep, on a tour of the Middle East Hart was still beloved by the fans, but Austin was gaining in popularity. The two put on a masterclass submission match before Hart locked in the sharpshooter to pick up an expected but hard-fought win.

According to WWE.com, "the entire city erupted" at the finish, which, while classic WWE embellishment, isn't far from the truth.
