10 Awesome 90s Wrestling Feuds You Totally Forgot About

3. Hakushi vs. Bret Hart (1995)

Take one part legendary Michinoku Pro Wrestling high flyer, add one part legendary WWF mat technician, throw in a mannequin Bret Hart head, and some really next-level wrestling and you have what WWF fans were treated to in 1995. WWF's relationships with various Japanese wrestling promotions in the 1990s allowed everyone from Japanese legends like Genichiro Tenryu to Great Sasuke and yes, Hakushi to wrestle a few matches in the WWF. Insofar as Hakushi, Jinsei Shinzaki showed up in the WWF in 1994, and after having great matches with the likes of Matt Hardy, Aldo "Justin Credible" Montoya and the 1-2-3 Kid, entered into a feud with Hart. Likely due to his inability to cut a credible English language promo (or maybe the fact that he was carrying around the severed head of Bret Hart to taunt The Hitman), the feud was short lived, with Jean Pierre Lafitte stealing Hakushi's Bret Hart head, and later pairing that with Hart's ring jacket and sunglasses to transfer the feud with Hart onto him. If looking for Hakushi's moonsault or "praying" powerbomb on American television, here's a great time to see them in a high-profile series of matches.
