The 2019 edition of Hell in a Cell will always be infamous for how it ended, practically killing 'The Fiend' character for many fans, but the opener between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks shouldn't be overlooked. The catastrophic main event between Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins and an average under-card overshadowed what was an excellent opener between 'The Man' and 'The Boss'.

The members of the Four Horsewomen had a fantastic and substantive match typical of the two modern-day great performers with Lynch retaining her RAW Women's Championship. In hindsight, it probably should have main evented so that fans weren't in such an understandably foul mood at the end of the show.

It certainly didn't help that the rest of the card was mostly poor too, short of a decent tag team match between Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan. Randy Orton had yet another Randy Orton-style match against Mustafa Ali, who had recently been promoted from 205 Live.

Charlotte Flair also ended Bayley's SmackDown Women's Title reign, which was a far less exciting match between the other two Horsewomen.
