10 Awesome Matches On Awful WWE Shows
5. CM Punk Vs The Undertaker (WrestleMania 29)
The Undertaker's last WrestleMania win before his streak ended was one of his best, with CM Punk also operating at peak form despite the rest of the show being a dull and uneventful edition of the yearly extravaganza.
Punk arguably should have been in the main event of the show as WWE Champion, but the company decided to pop the title on The Rock for his disappointing rematch against John Cena. Despite his historic title reign coming to an end, the 'Voice of the Voiceless' still managed to have a profiled match at WrestleMania 29 against 'The Deadman,' who was still just about at his best.
The Undertaker may not have known it at the time, but he would not have another match that was as dramatic and WrestleMania-worthy with any opponent again, whilst it would also be Punk's last appearance at the event after leaving the company the following year.
The Rock and Cena's diminished return of a main event was not the only let-down, as Triple H versus Brock Lesnar also underdelivered quite spectacularly. The other World Title match at the show was between Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger, which really says it all about how poor the show was overall.
