10 Awesome Matches WWE Still Has In Its Back Pocket

8. AJ Styles Vs. Big E

Or, how about this?

Questionable hiccup with Big E's presentation aside (there's no way Michael Cole and Corey Graves should've been debating his abilities as a singles star a few weeks ago on SmackDown), it's obvious the New Day man has a bright future. He's actually Universal Title calibre, but maybe that's premature.

First, the hip-gyrating, butt-shaking, thigh-slapping former tag star should cut his teeth against a few heel midcarders and then target a title he once held. Oh yes, it's true - Big E was once Intercontinental Champion back in the olden days of 2013-2014. He could be that again, maybe after AJ Styles deals with Jeff Hardy.

A win in that feud would give the cocky champ strength before meeting his next challenge head on. Then, E can rock up to a major pay-per-view, slap the sneer out of Styles and prove he doesn't need Kofi Kingston or Xavier Woods in his corner. It kinda' writes itself.
