Ultimo Dragon's WCW career didn't actually last that long. His run began in the summer of 1996 as Ultimate Dragon and ended in acrimonious circumstances less than two years later, an arm injury and botched surgery forcing him into early retirement. His 23 months in the company were far from wasted though, and he managed to pick up two WCW Cruiserweight Championships to go along with his dual Television Championship reigns. Throw in beloved matches with Rey Mysterio, Steven Regal and others, and you've got an extremely productive two years.

Dragon isn't best remembered for those matches though, or even those individual title reigns. No, the future founder of Toryumon is best remembered for one of the coolest visuals in the history of pro wrestling.

You can keep your Zacky three belts, your Becky two belts, your Bayley two belts. Give me Ultimo Ten Belts any day of the week.

For the record, the titles are as follows; British Commonwealth Junior Heavyweight, IWGP Junior Heavyweight, UWA World Junior Heavyweight, WAR International Junior Heavyweight, WWA World Junior Light Heavyweight, WWF Light Heavyweight, NWA World Junior Heavyweight, NWA World Welterweight, NWA World Middleweight and, of course, the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. Sonny Onoo has never looked cooler.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
