7. Chris Jericho Breaks The Royal Rumble Down
The legendary Chris Jericho has pretty much done it all.
Undisputed WWE World Champion, multiple-time World Champion in WWE, most reigns with the WWE Intercontinental Championship, various tag title wins, tournament victories, Slammy Awards, a Bragging Rights trophy, IWGP Intercontinental Champion, AEW World Champion...
...you could be here for a while.
One thing 'Le Champion' has never actually been able to add to this near-unrivalled collection of feats, though, is a win in a match that many have understandably assumed he must have managed to come out on top in at least one time in his awesome career.
But a Royal Rumble triumph has still eluded Jericho throughout his 30-year+ run as an in-ring worker, despite regularly being a highlight during whatever version of the match he was a part of.
Jericho managed to stay alive in the contest for over 35-minutes on multiple occasions, made it to the final four a few times, and even holds the record for the longest cumulative time in the match (nearly five hours!). Despite all that, though, and boasting a whopping 19 eliminations in total, Jericho has never had his hand raised at the end of the epic over-the-top-rope war.
