10 Awesome WWE Entrance Themes That Went To Waste

4. Michael McGillicutty

Speaking of The Nexus, Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga were the last remaining members of the group when the black and yellow colors were officially retired in August 2011. They continued to team throughout remainder the year before going their separate ways. While Otunga found some success as John Laurinaitis' lawyer, McGillicutty was sparingly seen on WWE TV, mostly relegated to working 'WWE Superstars.' But it was on 'Superstars' he was able to showcase his skills in the ring. He still didn't have much charisma at that time, which is why the decision to give him "And The Horse He Rode On" was an odd one. Don't get me wrong, it was a great tune (otherwise it wouldn't be featured on this list), but it was wasted on the bland McGillicutty for no apparent reason. One can argue that the song he uses now, a remix of his father Mr. Perfect's classic entrance music, is underrated as well. He has had a number of awesome entrance themes during his WWE tenure, but he hasn't deserved to use any of them because of his blandness as a character.
