2. Rollins Hits The Pedigree
Being real for a second, there wasn't ever really much chance that Seth Rollins wasn't going to leave Payback without the WWE Title around his waist. The entire show screamed of being of lesser-importance than others, just one stop on the WWE Pay-Per-View calendar, and not a particularly important one. Nonetheless, it did feel very satisfying when the super-heel emerged victorious, not least because he used Triple H's Pedigree finishing move to pin Randy Orton. This was a nice touch, and one which makes Rollins look every bit as cerebral as his mentor, 'The Game' once was during his full-time in-ring career. Better yet, HHH himself came out from the back to congratulate his chosen champion, and it felt like another big step for Rollins towards making himself a permanent fixture in the main event scene. By using the Pedigree, Rollins added another move to his arsenal, and it'll be interesting to see if he takes on the move full time.
