If ever there were any doubts about the impact The Shield had during their run, it was washed away when the trio threatened to reunite at Payback. Sure, it may have been extremely brief, and was - in storyline at least - nothing more than a ploy from Ambrose and Reigns to eliminate Randy Orton from the running, but it did send a shiver up the spines of many, one need only look to Twitter to see people losing their minds. One of the most popular things about The Shield was there epic Triple Powerbomb finisher, and the reaction was huge when Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins teamed up one more time to plant Orton through the announce table. Both desks would end up falling, but this was definitely the one with the biggest impact. Somewhere down the line, it's impossible to imagine that The Shield won't unite properly once more. This seemed to be little more than WWE testing the water somewhat, seeing what kind of response it would get - management must be pleased with what they heard, and the triple-team move made for the biggest cheer of the night.
