10 Awesome WWE Reasons To Stay Alive In 2016

5. Ronda Rousey May Step Into A WWE Ring

At WrestleMania 31, Ronda Rousey joined The Rock in humiliating both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The segment was memorable, and it was quite the coup for WWE to have someone like Rousey appear. That was before Ronda lost her unbeaten MMA record to Holly Holm in November, 2015. Even so, there's a chance that the dominant athlete could appear in a WWE ring in 2016. By losing to Holm, some of the aura surrounding Rousey has dissipated. She's still a big deal, but it's been proven that she can be defeated. Going forward, her first major goal must be to avenge her loss to Holm and win back the UFC Women's Bantamweight Title. Whether she succeeds or fails at this may determine whether or not she decides to give pro wrestling a try. UFC President Dana White has been frosty about the idea of Rousey competing for WWE. The McMahon family seem keen to make the deal work, and stranger things have happened. There's money in Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon, that's for sure. A match at SummerSlam, for example, would be the biggest women's match in years.
