Perhaps the oldest term on the list, the Creatures Of The Night go back to the mid-'90s when The Undertaker was in the middle of his first babyface run with WWE.

Calling anyone a "creature" usually doesn't equate to flattery, even if it is The Undertaker doing the talking. Still, the term at least made sense as it fit the Deadman character that The Undertaker had been portraying at the time.

WWE even went as far as to plant some Creatures Of The Night at ringside, involving them in some of The Undertaker's programs, most notably with Kama in 1995. These individuals were made to appear Paul Bearer-esque, morbidly dressed in black with heavy bags under their eyes and ghostly white faces. Again, not exactly a complimentary personification.

Considering the origination of the term and the illustration of the Creatures, it is clear that WWE wanted to portray the supporters of their resident zombie as a little off.

Despite the implied creepiness, the Creatures lived on and would grow in numbers given the great success The Undertaker would have throughout his career, but it doesn't save the term from making the list of worst fan nicknames ever.
