10 Backstage Wrestling Rivalries You Won't Believe

9. The Outsiders vs. The Nasty Boys

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtZ_HR5QpNY When Kevin Nash and Scott Hall jumped over from the then-WWF to WCW in the Summer of 1996, it truly seemed like a huge deal at the time. Eventually, the duo would hook up with Hulk Hogan, infamously forming the original New World Order faction, and the rest - as they say - is history. Working together as The Outsiders, Nash and Hall had numerous matches against The Nasty Boys, Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags. One one occasion, things got heated, as Sags felt Scott Hall had deliberately taken liberties with his physical well-being inside the ring, hurting him on purpose with a steel chair. Retaliating, Sags punched Hall, knocking out some of his teeth, and a reported physical confrontation occurred in the backstage area between both teams after the match was finished. Described by The Nasty Boys now as "water under the bridge", it's fascinating to look back at situations such as this - the thought of something like this being allowed to happen now in WWE is implausible.
