10 Backstage Wrestling Rivalries You Won't Believe
7. Battle Of The Giants
When recalling the incident in one of his books, Chris Jericho was almost giggling with delight over one fight he witnessed backstage in WWE. Both The Big Show and The Great Khali are incredible human-beings, literally larger-than-life, so it must have been quite the rumble when they threw down the fisticuffs in a locker room full of other wrestlers. According to Jericho, The Big Show had been heated by Khali using some moves he considered his own, and likely felt threatened by the ascendancy of another giant in WWE - being the only man of his stature in wrestling has been long been something Show has been proud of, using it as his main selling point. When Khali showed little remorse for his actions, the pair got into a brief brawl, one which no other wrestler was willing to interject! In fact, the only man who did try to break up the fight was Kane, which must have only added to the intense spectacle of effectively seeing Godzilla vs. King Kong live and in living colour.
