When The Undertaker debuted in 1990, looking like a mortician from the Wild West, it was quite the unique image -- a character like that had never been seen on so grand a stage before. He was frightening and mysterious... but not altogether "bad-ass." As the character evolved from mortician to Lord of Darkness, though, he made the leap to truly intimidating. Gone were the purple tie and gloves. In their place were long leather robes, arcane symbols, and sometimes even capes. He picked up more tattoos over the years, as well, adding to his aura. By the time the Ministry of Darkness rolled around, 'Taker seemed to be trying to channel the devil himself. It worked. Following his return to the real Undertaker character at WrestleMania XX, the Phenom has tended to keep it simple -- duster, hat, and singlet with tights. Still, he's just as bad-ass as ever, striking fear in the hearts of opponents and fans before even setting foot in the ring.
