10 Best Champions Of The Worst Titles In Wrestling

10. Triple H - WWE European Title

Arguably the least prestigious of WWE championships, there were at least some quality grapplers who wore the European strap in its heyday. What started as a title won in Europe by a European, it wasn't long before it essentially became the poor man's Intercontinental championship. Only lasting for six years in the WWE, some European champions (like D'Lo Brown) never rose to main event status. Others, including Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle, rose to prominence in the ranks of WWE. Regardless of personal taste, it's hard to argue that the most esteemed man to wear the Euro-strap was Triple H. Before he was a perennial Heavyweight champ, The Game won this third-rate title twice, and held it longer than any non-European wrestler. Only William Regal and the British Bulldog held it longer. Luckily for the Cerebral Assassin, he didn't have to lurk in the mid-card European champ ranks for long.
