10 Biggest Chickensh*t WWE Heel Champions

3. Triple H

Triple H has more often than not taken the role of 'bad ass' during his heel runs, since becoming WWE Champion for the first time in 1999. He broke away on his own and developed a serious attitude in order to take the next step back then, and he's spent his time at the top of the card ever since. But Hunter's cowardly run as a heel came during his 'reign of terror' in the early-to-mid 2000's. Having struck up a relationship with Ric Flair (more on him later), Triple H started to take some of the classic characteristics of the Nature Boy and work it into his own persona. The pair formed Evolution, recruiting Randy Orton and Batista - but while Hunter chirped on that he was squeezing two diamonds out of coal, there was an ulterior motive too. Triple H was prepared at the time to do anything to hold on to the World Heavyweight Championship. And he would use his Evolution compatriots to protect him from dangerous opponents. He'd even offer his own money to anybody who could take out a target... See Goldberg.
