1. Brock Lesnar - WrestleMania 19

The night after WrestleMania X8, the world was introduced to a terrifying young man from Minnesota named Brock Lesnar.

Over the next twelve months, Lesnar was pushed to the moon. He crushed The Rock at SummerSlam 2002 to become the youngest world champion in company history. He won the Royal Rumble on his first try, and, in doing so, set up a tantalising fixture with WWE Champion, Kurt Angle, in the main event of WrestleMania XIX.

Like every time these two stepped inside a ring together, this match was a classic. These two had undeniable chemistry between the ropes and were so evenly matched, you never knew which way the match was going to go.

Whilst this encounter might only really be remembered for one of the scariest botches of all time (the one where Brock decided to introduce himself to the ground neck first), it's still a fantastic battle between two of the purest athletes to ever work for WWE

Brock won the belt back from Angle, becoming the first and only man in history to win a world title in his WrestleMania debut.

Not bad for someone who wasn't even on the main roster one year earlier.
