Let's stick with Brock Lesnar main event victories and rewind twelve years to one of the best SummerSlams ever.

Brock Lesnar had debuted mere months before SummerSlam 2002, turning up on the Raw after WrestleMania X-8.

After feuding with The Hardy Boyz and leading Steve Austin to no-show an episode of Raw, Lesnar was named the number one contender to the WWE Championship at the second-biggest show of the year.

He was facing off against The Rock in a proper passing of the torch; the old guard facing off against the new in a moment that is seen far too infrequently these days. The two men's styles meshed really well and both were such naturals in the ring that there was no way this bout was going to disappoint.

Brock eventually countered a Rock Bottom to hit the F5 and put the champion down for three. It was Brock's first ever world title and it came at the age of just 25 - making him the youngest person ever to win the WWE Championship.

A great ending to a great show, Brock vs Rock goes down as one of the best SummerSlam main event matches in history.
