In 2014, The Undertaker's Streak-ending saga with Brock Lesnar was considered a major disappointment when it came to both build-up and match quality - especially when you factor in the chemistry the two brutes had back in 2002. And then it unexpectedly continued in 2015 and everything changed.

'Taker's quest to avenge the loss of the Streak and ultimately redeem himself after a poor in-ring performance (which was, in all fairness, through no fault of his own) lit a fire inside of The Deadman that we hadn't seen in a very long time, and it set the stage for not one but two much more worthy showdowns between the old foes.

It also presented WWE with the opportunity to make up for the disappointing 2014 entry in the saga as, instead of being all about Streak-centric promos with no stakes whatsoever, we had these two longtime rivals cut loose and absolutely destroy each other.

This felt like the larger-than-life feud we wanted from these two leading up to WrestleMania XXX, but with the added elements of 'Taker's thirst for both vengeance and redemption, it came to life in a way that all of their previous entanglements (even their great 2002 series) never did.
