10 Best Image Changes In WCW History

8. Lance Storm

In ECW, Lane Storm was part of a fairly popular (but unspectacular) tag team named the Impact Players, in which he and Justin Credible were billed as no-nonsense tough guys. An image change was definitely needed upon moving to WCW, where around half the roster were also working under similarly gritty, badass gimmicks. Storm ramped up the Canadian aspect of his wrestling persona, and his striking red and white tights became a permanent feature of his ring attire. Patriotic fans were quick to boo the villainous Storm, and success swiftly followed. He was even allowed to hold three championship titles at once (the US Championship, Cruiserweight Championship, and Hardcore Championship). This Canadian aesthetic carried over into his championship reigns, which saw Lance slap garish Canadian flags over the central plate of each title, and rename them the Canadian Heavyweight Championship, 100kg and Under Championship, and Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title.
