10 Best Image Changes In WCW History

6. Diamond Dallas Page

DDP actually debuted in WCW in a non-wrestling role, as the manager of the iconic Fabulous Freebirds (well, one of the members was Jimmy Garvin at the time, but Michael Hayes was there at least). Page looked like something straight out of the mid-1980s, a Randy Savage-esque figure sporting huge sunglasses and garish ring attire. Page took time out to train as a wrestler, and came back with a similar (but gradually improving) style. Eventually he turned babyface in 1997, refusing to join the New World Order and feuding with them. This was a fantastic booking decision on the part of WCW, and signified a visual change too. Page retained a generally bright style, but brought his attire in line with the increasingly gritty look of the wrestling business at the time. He began to wear dark pants and rough, battered jackets, making him more a relatable "everyman" figure for the fans to get behind - while retaining his own signature look.
