If you said that Kurt Angle was the best in-ring performer of the past 25 years, it probably wouldn't start a lot of heated arguments. There are very few wrestlers in the history of the business who can match his body of work. The sad thing is most fans didn’t see a lot of his work after he left WWE in 2006, which means they're missing out on some real gems.

His WWE resume is very impressive with great matches against the likes of The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin and Rey Mysterio, but there are many battles in TNA that he had against their roster that were just as good, if not better.

Angle did it all in TNA. He battled high-flying X-Division stars, put on technical classics and even took part in some brutal hardcore brawls. He's a man that can work a variety of styles, and seems impossible of participating in a bad match. Though he dropped his three "I's" of integrity, intensity and intelligence long ago, it still pretty well sums up his work as a performer.

Even as Angle competed well into his 40s, he still remained one of the smartest and overall best workers in he business.

With the Olympic gold medalist soon coming into WCPW to take on the next generation of grapplers, it’s time to take a look back at his greatest work after his WWE run.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
