8. Sasha Banks Vs Carmella (WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2020)

Initially welcome on SmackDown as a brand new pairing, there was little excitement left about Sasha Banks Vs Carmella by the time the annual Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view arrived.

This was as much to do match already happening on television in the weeks before, and 'The Princess Of Staten Island' pivoting from hifalutin heel to champagne-themed caricature in the weeks they had to play with. Fortunately, and brilliantly, it all came together on the night.

Banks bumped majestically for the good of getting her Challenger over as a serious threat, and the pair assembled a sequel impossibly superior to the SmackDown original. The pair found a gripping near fall from 'The Boss' spiking herself vertically from an X-Factor, which then fed into some luxurious hold/counter-hold stuff as Carmella tried to wear the Champion down and out.

Sasha's submission victory came after she took out the interfering Reginald with a meteora - itself some satisfying revenge for his bullsh*t in the build. Expectations were quite high and the match still overachieved, acting as yet more justification for why people had been campaigning for 'The Boss' to have a longer title reign all this time.
