10 Best Matches In WWE NXT History
9. Charlotte Vs. Bayley Vs. Becky Lynch Vs. Sasha Banks (TakeOver: Rival) (2015)
Taking four of the best female wrestlers in WWE history (if not the four best) and putting them in the same ring to contest the NXT Women' Championship sounds like a recipe for a phenomenal match.
And so it proved in February 2015 when Charlotte, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks met in the penultimate match of TakeOver: Rival; the unofficial end to the "Four Horsewomen" who had helped define NXT over the previous two years.
This match had almost everything you could possibly ask of a fatal four-way. There were great spots (including some impressive high-flying to the outside of the ring), a flurry of near-falls, and a first-time title win for one of the company's great up and coming young stars.
The only thing lacking for this to be a true, for-the-ages classic was time. This only went a mere 12 minutes, which seems like a travesty given that it featured a quartet of workers who are each capable of going well over 20 under the right circumstances.
