10 Best Matches In WWE TLC History

3. Dolph Ziggler Vs. Luke Harper (2014)

Competing for the Intercontinental Championship, Ziggler and Harper opened up the show last year and whilst many expected the bout to be good to great, nobody expected the sheer brutality that came. Harper recently revealed on Chris Jericho's podcast that he was pissed at dropping the title so quickly, and set out to steal the show with Ziggler who was performing in his hometown. Steal the show they did, but they sure did put their bodies on the line in order to do so. Both men were busted open the hard way during, and Harper looked to have destroyed his own arm in a pretty scary spot early on. Going for his suicide dive onto Ziggler, Dolph threw the ladder in the direction of Harper who seemingly got his arm lodged in the rungs of the ladder and stumped it on the way down. It looks awful, and you can't help but feel Harper was lucky to escape without serious injury. The match was full of drama and false finishes, and Ziggler really came to the fore during. This was the last of the seemingly inevitable pushes for Dolph as he was fresh off defeating the entire Authority in the name of John Cena at Survivor Series. He and Harper work gloriously together, and the winner of the bout was a genuine mystery until Dolph managed to grab the title.
