6. Hornswoggle Is Vince McMahon's Son
As ridiculous as it is to recall, Hornswoggle spent the better part of five months as an illegitimate McMahon.
The initial storyline was put in place to push Mr Kennedy as a future top star, though the angle quickly fell apart at the seams internally when Kennedy was named as one of the 11 Superstars involved in a steroid scandal.
Already committed to the story on screen, it was revealed that Hornswoggle was Vince McMahon's bastard son. Again, because midgets are hilarious, right?
With the WWE creative team's legs furious backpedaling, it was later revealed that the little leprechaun was in fact the son of Finlay, an Irishman (such creativity), during a rivalry with JBL. Any relation between Vince and Hornswoggle was quickly swept under the rug.
