10 Best Moments In Starrcade History

4. Vader Vs. Flair (1993)

The second of Vader's Starrcade classics came against Ric Flair a year after he was beaten by Sting, and if that one lacked build this one certainly didn't.

In fact, 'The Nature Boy' put his career on the line for the opportunity to wear a world title for the 11th (official) time, and fought the match - a 20-minute slug-fest watched (and occasionally tampered with) by Harley Race from the outside - like a man who might be wrestling his last.

Given the low-quality (but big name) matches that headlined Starrcades 1994 through 2000, you can probably assert with a degree of confidence that this one was the last truly great main event the show saw, and unless Jinder Mahal dramatically improves in the ring over the next two months, that is unlikely to change for a while yet.
