10 Best Monster Henchman In Wrestling
2. The Undertaker
Like Kane, Undertaker began his WWE career serving as Paul Bearer's demonic monster. 'The Deadman' and Bearer became an instantly iconic duo, with Undertaker being pushed at the top of the card alongside the Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan - with 'Taker even defeating Hogan to claim his first WWE Championship.
Throughout his early years in WWE, Undertaker was pitted against other monsters such as Kamala, Giant Gonzalez, and even an imposter of himself. However, his best monster clashes came after Bearer turned on 'The Phenom' and brought new henchmen of his own in Mankind and Kane. Despite Bearer not being an in-ring performer, his chemistry with Undertaker was one of the best examples of a monster henchman dynamic.
The Death Valley native found more value as a monster henchman during the height of the Attitude Era when he joined up his Ministry of Darkness with Mr. McMahon's Corporation. The Corporate Ministry was another example of McMahon using a monster heel in his quest to defeat Stone Cold Steve Austin, which provided the 'Lord of Darkness' an excuse to flesh out his character even more.
