One of the best rivalries of 2011 was a World Heavyweight Championship feud between Randy Orton and Christian. Christian had previously won the title off of Alberto Del Rio but then lost it to Orton.

After several unsuccessful attempts at recapturing the gold, he was able to secure what might have been his last chance at Orton's belt. To Christian's advantage, this match at Money in the Bank 2011 came with the stipulation that Randy could lose his title if he was DQ'd.

Christian tried to exploit the DQ stipulation, even handing The Viper a steel chair during the match. Randy wouldn't be fooled so easily. What finally made Orton snap was when Christian spat directly into his face. This sickening move provoked Orton into giving his opponent a blatant low-blow, causing him to lose the match and the World Heavyweight Championship.

Orton continued with his rage after the match, using his RKO twice on Christian while on the Spanish announce table. For some reason, that table refused to collapse both times.

These two wrestlers would have many great matches during this run in 2011 and this one at Money in the Bank was no exception.
