The match that gave birth to the TLC concept and effectively pushed the boundaries yet again for what was possible on a WWE show, there are few in history as significant as this one. The three teams who defined tag team wrestling in the early 2000s, a fierce rivalry to be crowned the best team in the world – a title that actually mattered back then, and the willingness to destroy their bodies in the process, just to bring the audience to edge of their seats.

Before this match, the Dudley Boyz had been synonymous with tables in WWE, the Hardy Boyz with ladders and Edge and Christian with chairs. During this Triangle Ladder match at WM2000, the respective teams brought their favorite toys to devastating effects.

There were all kinds of crazy spots, including a Swanton from a ladder that was so high, Jeff may well have been touching the sky. After all sorts of table crashes, thunderous chair shots and ladder falls, Edge & Christian captured the gold, while all three teams had captured our hearts.
