3. Stone Cold & Mike Tyson Square Off

It may have cost him millions of dollars, but there's no doubting that Vince McMahon's decision to hire in Mike Tyson for a few appearances in early-1998 dramatically heightened the exposure the WWF received from mainstream media. Tyson was huge news at the time, having controversially bitten off part of Evander Holyfield's ear during a boxing fight in the Summer of 1997.
Playing it cool as nothing more than a celebrity who was happy to be appearing in the company, Tyson was confronted by Steve Austin, who was eager to prove that it was he who was the 'Baddest Man On The Planet', not the boxing star. Infuriating McMahon, Austin attempted to provoke Tyson, who responded by shoving the wrestler.

Tyson subsequently became involved with D-Generation X in the lead-up to the Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Austin WWF Title match at WrestleMania 14, and would infamously deck HBK on the big show itself.
