10 Best Roman Reigns WWE Matches

Kevin Owens defended his Universal Championship against Roman Reigns in a No DQ Match earlier this year while his former best friend Chris Jericho was suspended above the ring in a shark cage. As goofy of a stipulation as that was, this was a superb match that will likely end up on many critics' 'Best of...' lists at the end of this year.

The action started quick and never really reached a point of lulls like in most matches. There was constantly some huge spot being transitioned into, such as when Kevin Owens took a Superman Punch off the turnbuckles. He then fell backward out of the ring through an Erector Set-style arrangement of steel chairs that he himself set up.

Roman appeared to have this contest won before the mammoth Braun Strowman came out to attack him. Braun chokelsammed Roman onto an announce table then ran him into a propped up table inside of the ring via running powerslam. Braun became the main reason why KO retained his Universal Title, which built into their Fastlane match (covered earlier on this list).
