10 Best Times Wrestlers Hit Their Finishers On The Fly
10. Drew McIntyre
When: Hell In A Cell 2018.
Anyone who reads this writer's stuff on the regular knows that he's partial to a whine or two about how fellow countryman Drew McIntyre is under-utilised in WWE. For a big man, he moves like a cat, and he just looks like the kind of wrestler Vince McMahon would foam at the mouth over. Why this hasn't translated into a sustained top line push is baffling, especially when his finisher is so adaptable.
At HIAC 2018, then-Raw Tag Champ Drew walloped Seth Rollins with a stiff Claymore Kick right before his partner Dolph Ziggler was hit with Seth's Falcon Arrow. The timing was impeccable. McIntyre slid in right on cue and blasted Rollins in the side of the head as he was lifting Ziggler.
That meant all three men fell at once, giving the spot a meaty amount of impact and drawing a nice "Ooooooooh" from the live crowd in San Antonio. The beauty of the Claymore is that it comes from a huge man, and that means it looks like McIntyre has killed his foe when he pulls the trigger.
