10 Best TNA Feuds Ever

9. Beer Money Inc. vs. The Motor City Machine Guns

In a prime example of opposites attracting, the old school rasslin' style of Beer Money Inc. bounced perfectly off the death-defying high-flying of the Motor City Machine Guns in TNA.

The two teams' chemistry was best showcased in their 2010 Best of Five series for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. This was a gritty, competitive rivalry focused more on accolades and one-upmanship than an overly personal or soap operatic narrative.

Robert (not Bobby yet) Roode and James Storm used underhanded tactics to get the jump on MCMG in a bid to secure a three-bout clean sweep. The series came hot off the heels of the Detroit babyfaces finally beating the boozy capitalists for the big one at Victory Road that year. Incensed by the upset, Roode and Storm played the roles of desperate villains perfectly here.

Better still was Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin as the underdog babyfaces determined to keep their day in the sun running long. After being crushed by their rivals in matches one and two, they mounted a hero's comeback, ultimately winning the series and proving once and for all who the better team was.

Well...

Maybe not quite.

Believing you can't have too much of a good thing, TNA revisited this pairing the next year with Beer Money Inc. reclaiming the gold and standing tall. The only real flaw to be picked here though is the lack of promotion for that Best of Five series. There's a sound argument it's quietly the greatest tag series in wrestling history.
