10 Best Triple Threat Wrestling Matches Ever

5. Los Guerreros vs. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit vs. Edge & Rey Mysterio (WWE Survivor Series 2002)

Paul Heyman is the one often credited for just how fantastic Smackdown was during the latter part of 2002. Known as the 'Smackdown Six', Eddie and Chavo Guerrero, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle were on fire during that period. Smackdown instantly became the best wrestling show on television as a result, and the WWE tag-team scene was red hot. At Survivor Series 2002, mouths watered when it was announced that all 3 teams would face one another in a Triple Threat collision. Admittedly, the match was held under elimination rules, making it more similar to the traditional Three Way Dance regulations. However, it's simply too epic a clash to leave off any list looking at the best 3-way matches in grappling history. Absolutely everybody involved could have had a brilliant singles match with anyone else. The mix of talent was maddening, and those skills all melded together fantastically well. Without a doubt, if Survivor Series 2002 hadn't also included the first ever Elimination Chamber spectacle, the WWE Tag-Team Title match would have stolen the show.
