6. Leader Of A New Main Event Mafia
Here is another one that long time IMPACT fans could get behind.
The Main Event Mafia was TNA's top heel stable throughout 2008-2010. Led by Kurt Angle and then later Sting, the stable was made up of a myriad of the company's top veteran stars, such as Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, and Booker T. A later version even included younger talents like Samoa Joe and Magnus, now known as Nick Aldis. The group ran rampant over the roster, invoking a civil war of sorts between the veterans and the youth of TNA.
While the amount of trios teams are always growing within AEW, there is only one true stable, that being The Inner Circle of course. AEW could use another one, and one made up of the company's more senior members would be nice to see. Maybe Sting teams with Cody and a few other industry veterans, like lets say SCU, and the group can provide programs for the likes of Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy and The Jurrassic Express for months to come. It could even lead to a 'Blood and Guts' match, minus Sting of course - and hopefully this one isn't canceled because of unforeseen circumstances.
