Most wrestling goodbyes turn out to be more like 'see you later', but Trish Stratus never worked full time as a wrestler post-2006. She did make appearances for WWE, but these were sporadic. At Unforgiven '06, Trish ended her journey from buxom blonde eye candy to solid pro wrestler by winning her 7th Women's Title.

Cries of 'Thank You Trish' rang out around Air Canada Centre in her home town of Toronto, and this was quite the fitting way for Stratus to call it a career. In just six years as a full-time WWE talent, she'd achieved more than most and forced her way into the hearts of fans by working hard to improve as a wrestler. Trish was fully deserving of this adulation.

The fact the victory came against long-time rival Lita and was secured using Bret Hart's Sharpshooter move only added to the sweetness of Trish's moment. Post-win, it was clear to see how dazzled Stratus was by the response of her countrymen. The title triumph was a great way to cap off her run.
