Many fans agree that the Invasion storyline, which had WCW invading the WWF (also aligned with ECW to take down the McMahon empire), could have been handled a hell of a lot better. A gross understatement, for sure, the WWF threw away millions of dollars with how they booked the WCW crew to be so inferior to their WWF counterparts. Nonetheless, there were still some great matches which came out of the entire storyline, such as Booker T's WCW World Title defence against Kurt Angle on an episode of Smackdown in July, 2001.
