10 Best Workers Across WWE And NJPW

8. Tomohiro Ishii

At 41, Tomohiro Ishii is the oldest wrestler included on this list - but given that he has enjoyed by far the best years of his career since hitting his late 30s a few years ago, there's no reason to believe he's on the wane just yet.

Yet to get his hands on New Japan's biggest prize, Ishii has spent most of his career playing second fiddle to more photogenic stars, which only makes his incredible repertoire of top-quality matches all the more impressive.

The 'Stone Pitbull' has put on match of the year candidates alongside Kenny Omega, Tetsuya Naito, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Zack Sabre Jr. this year alone, and we're only in September.

What's more, he doesn't really have any equivalent in WWE, where everyone as prolific has already had their time in the main event sun.
