10 Best Workers Across WWE And NJPW
4. Hiroshi Tanahashi
NJPW stalwart Hiroshi Tanahashi has been a near-constant presence in the company during its steady climb back to the top of Japanese wrestling tree since the turn of the millennium.
For his in-ring chops (and, perhaps, his loyalty to the company that gave him his start in the business), he's been labelled a "Once in a Century Talent", and if it weren't for Okada's stranglehold on the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the veteran would probably have added a few more to his seven title reigns in the last couple of years.
Like most of the NJPW cast, his best matches have come alongside the 'Rainmaker', but he has also shared for-the-ages classics with the likes of Ibushi, Ishii, and Naito too. Truly a man for all occasions - especially the big ones.
