10 Best Workers Across WWE And NJPW

5. Tetsuya Naito

Tetsuya Naito's maiden IWGP Heavyweight Championship reign was cut short after just two months by the unstoppable Kazuchika Okada in June of last year, but it probably helps ease the pain of defeat when you lose in one of the best matches of the year.

Naito has matched just about anyone, anywhere, in terms of match quality over the last 12 months, having fought a liberal smattering of five-star classics with the likes of Michael Elgin, Kota Ibushi, Hiroshi Tanahashi and, of course, Kenny Omega.

One of the highlights of watching the 35-year-old in action is the impressive way he puts his opponents away. The Destino, a somersault DDT, simply never fails to look spectacular (and unlike comparable moves - the Canadian Destroyer for instance - it doesn't seem to require quite so much cooperation from his ring-partner).
