Based on his age, Brock Lesnar only just makes the cut for this list, but based on his ability, he’s a lock.
Lesnar turned 40 just last month, and he did so on top as the reigning WWE Universal Champion. And while you could argue that reign is a result of his star power more than anything else, at SummerSlam he reminded us that there’s more to his game than just tallying up German suplexes and ploughing through guys in squash matches. In fact, with that Fatal 4-Way at SummerSlam and his recent showdown with Samoa Joe—not to mention the recent series versus Goldberg—lately Lesnar’s been working some of the more competitive matches of his entire run since returning in 2012. Besides, if he can still hang in the UFC as he did in 2016, just days before his 39th birthday, that tells you he’s not quite over the hill just yet.
