4. Shane McMahon Leaps From HIAC (WrestleMania 32)

It’s easy to criticise Shane McMahon for his pitter-patter strikes and general lack of seasoning between the ropes, but he has more than earned his place in wrestling history. Shane is one of the sport’s greatest spot merchants, and while not exactly the most refined wrestler in the world, there’s an extremely high chance he’ll do something memorable whenever he’s booked to compete.

WrestleMania 33 was Shane’s first match in over seven years. At the age of 46, the greying millionaire stepped inside Hell In A Cell alongside The Undertaker, with control of Monday Night Raw at stake. Fans knew Shane was going to use the cell as a stunt prop as soon as the stipulation was announced, and so it transpired.

The match itself was a sluggish, overlong affair, and is only memorable thanks to Shane’s latest death-defying leap. With ‘The Deadman’ lying on the announce table, McMahon scaled the outrageously high structure, then said his prayers. A split-second later, Shane was flying through the air, and with ‘Taker rolling out of the way, he only had the table to break his fall. Bravery? Stupidity? You decide, but we'll be talking about it for years.
