10 Best Wrestling Dives

3. Jeff Hardy Goes Higher, And Higher, And Higher... (WWE Raw, 2008)

Now 39 years old, it’s a miracle Jeff Hardy is even able to walk these days, let alone maintain his status as one of the most high-risk wrestlers in the game. This 2008 dive stands out on his lengthy highlight reel, and frankly, it's one of the daftest things he has ever done.

Jeff was engaged in a brief feud with Randy Orton at the time, and the two were wrestling on Raw. The fight took them to the entrance ramp, where Hardy gained the upper-hand, and back-dropped Randy off the stage. That wasn’t enough for him, however, and while Orton was clearly out of it, Hardy had something ridiculous in mind.

With his opponent down, Jeff started scaling the Titantron. He stopped a couple of times, but just when it looked like Hardy was high enough, he kept on climbing. Eventually, Jeff settled at a height of about 40ft, then turned around slowly, and flew through the air with one of the riskiest Swanton Bombs ever attempted.

Spots like this, while dangerous, are exactly what made Jeff Hardy a megastar. Here’s hoping he doesn’t try to outdo this one anytime soon, though...
