10 Best Wrestling Matches For A Free Agent Daniel Bryan

During the course of his legendary career, Daniel Bryan was widely recognized as one of the best wrestlers ever. In fact, fans of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter voted him Best Technical Wrestler a record nine times (every year from 2005 to 2013), and so when Bryan retired, the award was renamed the "Bryan Danielson Award."

As of 2014, Bryan no longer wrestled full-time, and so it was someone else's turn to win the award. That someone was British grappler Zack Sabre, Jr., whose style may not be as dynamic as Bryan's, but who is every bit the technical wrestling encyclopedia that "The Yes Man" was. Sabre has won the Danielson award three years running. There's little chance of his reign ending anytime soon.

Sabre versus Bryan has actually happened before - they crossed paths in Triple X Wrestling in 2008. That bout was widely praised, and there's no doubt that a match today (or next year) would be even better. Bryan is now the veteran out to prove he can still tie his opponents up in knots, while Sabre is the reigning king of catch-as-catch-can wrestling. Expect a clinic.
