6. Hellboy Vs. Camazotz - Hellboy
Fun fact: this isn't the only time that Hellboy has entered a wrestling ring. 3 weeks before the release of the ill-fated reboot, All Japan Pro Wrestling brought in Hellboy for a 6-man tag team match to promote the upcoming movie.
Something which that match didn't have going for it though was vampires, which this match certainly does! In the opening of the film, our demonic paranormal investigator is on the hunt for missing agent Esteban Ruiz. He's found in New Mexico in a wrestling ring, because of course.
Going under the guise of Camazotz, Ruiz fights Hellboy in a one fall match-up. With half-demon weighing 396lb, you'd think it'd be an easy squash against the much small opponent. Instead, we get an even contest with both men getting equal amounts of offense in. Which is not realistic in the slightest, the giant red devil should win in a layout!
Though it does make more sense that the contest was more competitive than expected when it's revealed that Camazotz has been turned into a vampire. At this point, Hellboy is only able to win via impaling onto the ring post. A half-decent competition in general, and one that kicks off one of the worst superhero films of 2019.
