John Cena's amazing year continues on as he charges full steam ahead towards a match with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. Well, his charging will likely be derailed for a few weeks while he recovers from the surgery to repair his broken nose, but he'll be back on track soon enough.

Cena and Rollins faced off for the U.S. Championship on Raw and it lived up to the quality of John's recent body of work. Truthfully, it was a little slow in the beginning, just waiting to kick into that next gear. The moment when it did kick into that gear was after Rollins slammed his knee just a tad too close into Cena's face.

Both guys traded big moves in front of an ecstatic crowd. Rollins even attempted his Phoenix Splash but that proved to be a miscalculated attempt. Cena locked in his STF, making the top champ in WWE tap out. The visual of his deformed face while locking in that final submission will not be forgotten.
