10 Best Wrestling Matches Of The Week (July 4)
1. John Cena vs. Cesaro (Raw)
The words "John Cena United States Open Challenge" are some of the sweetest of the 2015 pro wrestling lexicon. Not only are these U.S. Title defenses guaranteed to be some of the best matches of the week but more often than not they're match of the year contenders. This past Monday was no exception.
It originally looked like Kevin Owens was going to answer John Cena's challenge, but instead he informed us that Cesaro would be wrestling. The Swiss Superman gave us a competitive bout that almost saw him defeat the champ if Owens hadn't broken up his Sharpshooter attempt.
One of the more talked about moments from the match was when the King of Swing gave a double ring finger salute to Cena. This brass ring moment sent censors into a brief moment of hysteria as many viewers were gifted a blacked out screen. It was an incredible statement that we can all hope that WWE's top brass took in an impressive manner.
